Our Client, a well-established national aged care provider, is seeking an experienced Care Manager to take ownership of clinical governance and care delivery within a residential aged care home.
This is not a “walk into chaos” role. You’ll be supported by a clear on-site leadership structure including a Facility Manager, Care Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator, allowing you to focus on what you do best — clinical leadership, quality care and team development.
With a salary of up to $150,000 + super (depending on experience) and relocation assistance available, this is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to step into a high-impact leadership position without carrying the weight alone.
What You’ll Be Responsible For You will lead clinical operations within the home, including:
Clinical governance and accreditation standards
AN-ACC funding optimisation and documentation oversight
Care planning, assessments and multidisciplinary coordination
Infection prevention & control and medication management
Clinical audits, incident management and continuous improvement
Coaching and developing Registered Nurses and care teams
You’ll act as a key clinical decision-maker and support the Facility Manager in maintaining strong performance across quality, compliance and resident outcomes.
About You To be successful, you will bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
3+ years’ experience in nursing leadership (Care Manager / CCC / NUM / Clinical Manager level)
Strong knowledge of aged care standards, accreditation and AN-ACC
Experience leading clinical teams and driving quality improvement
Confidence managing audits, compliance and clinical documentation
You’re calm under pressure, solutions-focused and confident influencing teams.
