Disability Support Worker

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing agency team, supporting Supported Independent Living (SILs) and community care facilities across Horsley and the wider Illawarra region.

About You

You are a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker who is confident supporting participants with a range of needs and abilities.
You will demonstrate:

  • Experience supporting participants in a SIL or community care setting
  • Strong skills in personal care, community access and daily living support
  • Ability to promote independence, choice and dignity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible, professional and person-centred approach

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate III+ in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months’ experience as a disability support worker
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current National Police Check (within 3 years)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Valid AUS Driver’s Licence and willingness to transport participants
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
