Our Client is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee a beautifully designed medium-sized home featuring modern hotel-style amenities, strong operational backing and an established clinical support structure already in place.
Located in Canberra’s western Molonglo Valley, this newly opened residence offers a theatre, café, wellness gym, hair salon, landscaped outdoor areas and thoughtfully designed living spaces built around a relationship-first model of care.

The Role
Reporting into senior operational leadership, you will hold full responsibility for the overall performance of the residence across:
- Clinical governance and compliance
- Accreditation and quality outcomes
- Workforce leadership and culture
- Occupancy and resident experience
- Financial and operational performance
- AN-ACC optimisation and documentation oversight
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Resident, family and stakeholder engagement
- Commissioning support and service stabilisation
- Building a positive and high-performing team environment
This is a visible leadership role suited to someone who enjoys building strong teams, driving accountability and creating an exceptional resident experience.
About You
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous leadership experience within residential aged care
- Strong understanding of accreditation, AN-ACC and clinical governance
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in aged care
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A hands-on leadership style with strong operational capability
- The ability to drive culture, standards and continuous improvement
Commissioning or new home opening experience will be highly regarded.
