We’re partnering with a well-established healthcare provider to recruit an experienced Practice Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a busy primary healthcare practice where you’ll influence culture, performance, patient outcomes, and business success. Relocation support may be available for the successful candidate.
About the Opportunity
As Practice Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a large modern medical practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred healthcare while supporting and developing a multidisciplinary team.
You’ll be responsible for balancing operational efficiency, financial performance, clinical governance, and outstanding customer service, creating an environment where both patients and staff thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspiring leadership, coaching and support to clinical and administrative teams.
- Manage the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows and service delivery.
- Drive a culture of exceptional patient care and continuous service improvement.
- Oversee financial performance, budgeting and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, legislative requirements and clinical governance frameworks.
- Monitor quality, safety and risk management processes across the practice.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
- Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Respond professionally to patient enquiries, feedback and complaints, implementing improvements where appropriate.
- Contribute to strategic planning and identify opportunities for business growth and operational excellence.
- Champion a collaborative, positive and inclusive workplace culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
- Previous experience managing a medical practice, healthcare clinic or multidisciplinary health service.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and engage teams.
- Strong operational, financial and organisational management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance standards.
- Confidence using practice management systems (experience with Best Practice software will be highly regarded).
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine commitment to outstanding patient care.
