About the Role

As a Mental Health Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, recovery-focused care while supporting consumers experiencing acute and complex mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting mental state examinations and risk assessments
  • Delivering safe, evidence-based mental health nursing care
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating care plans
  • Administering medications and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Supporting consumers with acute and chronic mental health presentations
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Maintaining compliance with clinical standards and facility policies

About You To be successful, you will have:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 12 months recent Mental Health nursing experience
  • Experience in acute inpatient, community and/or forensic mental health settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication and therapeutic engagement skills
  • Current National Police Check
  • Full Australian working rights
