About the opportunity Our Client is seeking an experienced Clinical Leader to take on a senior management position within an established residential aged care home in Sydney Metro.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being visible across the home, supporting Registered Nurses, developing clinical capability and maintaining strong standards of resident care.
You’ll work closely with the wider management team and have access to established quality, operational and clinical support.
The role You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day clinical performance of the home, with a strong focus on clinical governance, team development and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and supporting Registered Nurses and care teams
Overseeing resident assessments, care planning and clinical reviews
Supporting AN-ACC processes and accurate clinical documentation
Managing clinical incidents, risks and continuous improvement actions
Leading audits and maintaining strong compliance standards
Supporting medication management and complex resident care
Building clinical confidence and capability across the team
Working closely with GPs, allied health professionals and families
Maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
About you You’ll be an experienced aged care clinician who can combine strong clinical judgement with confident people leadership. You will ideally have:
Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
Residential aged care experience
Previous clinical leadership or management experience
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and care planning
Experience with AN-ACC, audits and continuous improvement
Strong coaching, mentoring and communication skills
Confidence managing clinical risk and supporting complex care
Candidates currently working as a Care Manager, Clinical Manager, Clinical Care Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager or senior Registered Nurse are encouraged to apply.
