The role
We are seeking committed Disability Support Workers for ongoing shifts in Hoppers Crossing. If you have experience in disability support, this job may be great for you!

Shift time:
7am to 9am Monday to Friday, ongoing.
3.30pm to 7.00pm Monday to Friday, ongoing.
Location: Hoppers Crossing, 3029.

Essential criteria:

• Minimum of 12 months paid experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• National Police Check clearance no older than 6 months.
• Must have High Manual Handling Skills e.g. transferring people with hoist.
• Must have High Challenging Behaviour Skills e.g. managing verbal and physical behaviours
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
• Own reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance are essential.
• Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Employment Working with Children’s Check.
• Two relevant, professional and industry related reference checks.
• Certificate in Epilepsy Management, Bowel and Bladder Care are highly regarded but not essential. Training can be provided for suitable candidates.
