About you
  
We are seeking kind, patient, empathetic individuals to join our Home Care Support Worker team.
  
The successful applicant understands that their ability to be consistent in their shifts has a huge impact on their clients, who have spent their lives contributing to our community. They would be available for shifts Monday to Friday in hours between 7am and 5:30pm.
  
Successful applicant will take pride and joy in giving back to the elderly of our community by assisting with Domestic and Social Support Work including cleaning, cooking, transporting and accompanying/assisting clients to social events and appointments. Applicants with relevant Certificate III and above qualifications will also be performing personal care tasks such as showering, assisting with feeds, toileting etc.

We are currently experiencing high demand for our Home Care (Aged in the Home) services in the Tamworth area and are looking for passionate and caring people to join our team to deliver these services.
  
About The Role

Successful applicants will be working with our elderly customers with the goal to help them remain in their own homes for as long as possible and live a fulfilling life independently.  Support may include assistance with Daily living, such as domestic support, meal preparations, personal care, and/or community access and participation.

To be considered 

  • Experience supporting the elderly preferred
  • Cert III + Personal Support Qualification mandatory
  • 6+ Months sector experience desirable but not essential
  • Valid AU Drivers Licence, either Green P Plates or Full License
  • Must have reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations and have and be willing to obtain full comprehensive insurance (KM’s reimbursed 99c per KM)
  • Be able to supply a Police Check no older than six months
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
