About the role
Our client is seeking locum Pharmacists to join their team for 12 months to cover their maternity leave. The pharmacy service is based in a hospital and provides patient centred pharmacy services, seven days a week. You will be working amongst the disciplinary team which is young and dynamic.
Location: Mount Isa, QLD
Start Date: 30th December 2024
Duration: 12 months (flexible)
Roster: 7.5-hour shifts – 08:00-16:30
Caseload: Inpatient Adult & Paediatric Wards and ED, and Renal Outpatients
Travel and Accommodation Provided
Key responsibilities include:
Dispense and distribute medications accurately and efficiently.
Managing the Dispensary and supervising dispensary staff.
Provide professional medication counselling and education to patients.
Working in a rural generalist role with some renal clinic work.
Work cooperatively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
To be successful in the role you will have:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
Current general AHPRA registration (essential)
At least 3 years demonstrated experience as a Pharmacist
Australian working rights (essential)
