About the role In this role, you will provide safe, effective and resident-focused clinical care while supporting the day-to-day delivery of quality outcomes across the home. The position description places strong emphasis on clinical documentation, assessments, care planning, delegation, quality improvement, therapeutic relationships, and clinical leadership within the home.
You will be involved in:
- Delivering high-quality clinical care and medication management
- Completing assessments and developing care plans
- Supporting AN-ACC, documentation and clinical compliance processes
- Building trusted relationships with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to quality improvement, audits and clinical best practice
- Guiding and supporting care staff on shift
The role also calls for nurses who can help foster a culture of safety, learning and accountability, while maintaining strong standards across areas such as wound care, palliative care, chronic disease management and resident wellbeing.
What we’re looking for
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as an RN in aged care, health care or a similar clinical environment
- Confidence in clinical assessments, care planning and documentation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with care staff and the broader clinical team
- A genuine commitment to person-centred care
