Share their name, contact details and profession with your HCA contact, we’ll take it from there and fast-track them through screening.

Our Refer a Healthcare Professional program rewards you for introducing qualified healthcare workers to join the HCA network. Whether they are a nurse, doctor, allied health professional or support worker, you can earn a reward when they join HCA and begin working.
Better still, both you and the person you refer receive a reward!
Referral Rewards
We offer different rewards depending on the healthcare role referred.
Doctors
Examples include GP, Locum GP, Registrar, Psychiatry, Obstetrics, Consultant, Specialist, or Hospital Medical Officer.
Reward:
$750 for you

Nursing and Allied Health
Examples include Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Midwives, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists.
Reward:

Support Roles
Examples include Personal Care Assistants, Assistants in Nursing, Disability Support Workers and Domestic Support Workers.

How the Referral Works
- Refer a healthcare professional to Healthcare Australia.
- The candidate mentions your name during their interview or referral process.
- Once they start working with HCA and meet the eligibility criteria, both of you receive the reward.
When are Rewards Paid?
Rewards are paid once the referred candidate meets the relevant work criteria.
Examples include:
Agency or community support roles
The candidate must complete 100 hours of work within 90 days.
Travel nurse or placement programs
The candidate must complete one placement of 4 weeks or more within 90 days.
Allied health permanent placements
The candidate must complete 6 months of employment working 3 or more days per week.
Doctors
The candidate must complete 15 shifts within 6 months.
Who Can Refer Someone?
- You may be eligible to participate if you have previously worked with Healthcare Australia in any division or role.
- You do not need to be currently working with HCA to make a referral.
- Rewards for current employees will be processed through payroll. Rewards for former workers will be issued as a digital gift card in the local currency where applicable.
