This is a large residential aged care home with a well-developed lifestyle program already in place. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 7, working together to deliver meaningful, engaging experiences for residents.
The Role Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will take ownership of delivering and enhancing the lifestyle program across the home.
This is not an entry-level role. You’ll be expected to bring prior experience as a Lifestyle Coordinator and confidently manage programs that support resident wellbeing, engagement and quality of life.
You’ll be responsible for:
Planning and delivering lifestyle programs aligned to resident needs
Facilitating group and individual activities that promote wellbeing
Supporting residents with cognitive, physical and social engagement
Working closely with care staff to integrate lifestyle into daily care
Building relationships with residents, families and the wider team
Ensuring documentation meets accreditation and compliance standards
Contributing to continuous improvement in lifestyle service delivery
About You
You are an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator who understands the impact a strong program has on residents’ quality of life.
You will bring:
Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (essential)
Proven experience as a Lifestyle Coordinator in residential aged care
Strong understanding of aged care standards and documentation
Ability to engage, motivate and connect with elderly residents
Creativity in program planning and activity delivery
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for improving resident wellbeing
