About the Role
As an Aged Care Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, you will deliver safe, person-centred care to residents across a variety of residential aged care facilities throughout Cairns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to aged care residents
- Medication administration and clinical interventions within scope of practice
- Monitoring, assessing and responding to changes in resident conditions
- Supporting care planning, assessments and clinical documentation
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and care teams
- Maintaining infection control and aged care quality standards
- Promoting resident wellbeing, dignity and independence
- Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum 12 months’ recent residential aged care experience
- Strong clinical, communication and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to different aged care environments
- A caring, professional and resident-focused approach
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon and night duty
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Up-to-date vaccinations and compliance documentation
- Full Australian working rights
