You’ll travel across residential aged care homes throughout Victoria and New South Wales, providing leadership, clinical guidance and operational support to homes requiring additional management support.

About the role
As a Roving Care Manager, you’ll provide hands-on clinical leadership and management support across multiple residential aged care homes.
You’ll work closely with General Managers and clinical teams to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care while supporting operational performance, clinical governance and continuous improvement.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, adapts quickly to different environments and can confidently step into a leadership position, build relationships and make an immediate impact.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical operations across assigned aged care homes, ensuring high standards of resident care.
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to Clinical Care Managers, nurses and wider care teams
- Review clinical incidents, complaints and risks, implementing appropriate improvement strategies.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees and external healthcare providers.
- Provide stability and leadership to homes experiencing periods of change or requiring additional support.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Nursing qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior clinical leadership role within residential aged care.
- 4 + years experience as a Clinical Care Manager, Care Manager or equivalent
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, aged care standards and regulatory requirements
- Confidence stepping into new environments and quickly building rapport with different teams.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
