Registered Midwife

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is seeking experienced Registered Midwives to work across public hospitals within the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD). We have ongoing shifts available in:

  • Postnatal Wards
  • Delivery Suites

We are seeking Registered Midwives who demonstrate:

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in midwifery care, including in postnatal and delivery settings
  • Clear, compassionate communication, supporting women and families while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability and autonomy, integrating effectively into different maternity units, documentation systems and models of care

Eligibility Requirements

  • Current AHPRA Registration (Midwife)
  • Minimum 12 months recent experience in a postnatal ward OR a delivery suite setting
  • Valid National Police Check
  • Valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Up-to-date vaccinations and serology
  • Full Australian working rights
