About the Role
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU / CCU), you will support busy acute hospital units across Wollongong, delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients in fast-paced clinical environments.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering advanced critical care nursing in ICU or CCU settings
- Monitoring and managing ventilated and high-acuity patients
- Performing advanced clinical assessments and interventions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary hospital teams
- Maintaining high clinical standards and patient safety
About You
You are an experienced ICU or CCU Registered Nurse who thrives in high-acuity hospital environments and can confidently adapt to different clinical settings.
You will bring:
- Recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and/or Coronary Care Unit (CCU) experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience managing ventilated or critically unwell patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and reliability for agency hospital shifts
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration – Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Minimum 2 years’ full-time post-graduate ICU or CCU experience
- Valid National Police Check (within 3 years)
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Up-to-date vaccinations & serology
- Full Australian working rights (sponsorship not available)
