New to Remote Working Pathway
Healthcare Australia’s (HCA) New to Remote Pathway is a guided placement journey, unique to HCA, designed to support eligible candidates in developing their existing clinical knowledge and experience towards the goal of working in Remote Health.

Leveraging off HCA’s reputation, extensive experience and client relationships, we can offer eligible candidates placements in rural and then remote areas to give them the confidence to transition their careers from urban to remote areas in the specialities of Emergency/Primary Health and Aged Care.
Each eligible candidate will work with a dedicated Rural & Remote Consultant who will identify placement opportunities across Australia, in a variety of facilities, which are suitable to their level of experience, and current position on the New to Remote Pathway. Placements will assist in the candidate being exposed to the following:
- Agency life
- Autonomous practice
- Indigenous Health Aspects
- Primary Healthcare (Remote Area Nurse)
- Rural & Remote Aged Care facilities (Aged Care Nurses & Support Workers)
- On Call/Call out systems

Candidates who do not meet HCA’s New to Remote Pathway (NTRP) criteria and would benefit from completing more comprehensive courses or personalized advice to assist them in meeting the NTRP criteria are welcome to consult with a member of the HCA R&R Team.
