About the client
Our client is a leading national disability organisation offering allied health and behaviour support services to NDIS participants across the lifespan in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania.
About the role
Our client is currently seeking Occupational Therapists for community NDIS positions in Sydney, Albury, Central Coast, Newcastle and Maitland.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence based occupational therapy services
- Assess and treat a varied caseload of NDIS participants within homes, schools, workplaces and childcare centres
- Make recommendations for home modifications or assistive technology
- Complete functional capacity assessments
- Build strong relationships with participants and their families
- Provide education, advice and recommendations to participants and families
- Work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current general AHPRA registration
- Australian working rights or eligibility for visa sponsorship
- Australian drivers’ licence
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
- NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain
