About the Hospital:
Our client is a specialised short-stay facility, supporting a diverse range of specialties including Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Urology, General & Colorectal Surgery, Dermatology, MOHs, IVF, Breast and Endocrine Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Oral Surgery.
They have 4 Operating Theatres,1 procedure room, 3 treatment rooms, a 12-bed Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), and 9-chair Stage 3 PACU, and 6-bed surgical ward.
Located in South West of the Brisbane CBD. Serviced by Train and Bus public transport which is adjacent to the hospital.
About the Role:
- working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary, specialised healthcare team
- supporting perioperative patient care needs
- supporting the NUM and GM/DON with human, physical and financial resources and quality activities
- driving high quality patient care
- education, mentoring and leadership of the Anaesthetic, PACU and Preop/ Admission nurses
- the ANUM role requires an experienced Anaesthetics nurse
- fast paced, friendly and supportive team environment
About You:
- Solid experience in Anaesthetics Nursing
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- available to work a flexible roster, primarily Monday to Friday 6am to 7pm with some weekend rostering availability which is optional.
- Experience in the above specialties highly desirable.
