The successful candidate will work closely with the Home Care State Manager and Marketing Manager to develop and implement growth strategies and engagement approaches. Their primary focus will be to convert quality leads and pathway to service with the Home Care Operations team.
This hybrid role has a dedicated focus on the customer; managing an existing client base, building relationships and working collaboratively with the State Team to ensure that services delivered are of a high quality, offer an excellent customer service and workforce experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of the State Business Development and Engagement Plan
- Independently establish and manage partnerships with a range of service provider and related organizations
- Develop and coordinate strategies and activities to engage stakeholders and maintain effective relationships
- Lead and represent HCA in forums, expos, and networking events
- Manage a caseload of customers and deliver an excellent customer experience
- Develop support plans that support the delivery of quality outcomes for customers in line with their funding and service plan
- Monitor the successful delivery of customer outcomes and conduct document service reviews at agreed times
- Complete all service delivery compliance and reporting requirements including Quoting, Service Agreements, Funding and Debt Management Activities and Plan Reviews
- Maintain and manage the funding budgets and supports to meet the customers’ needs and ensure customers’ funding is managed effectively for the funding dates
- Maintain communication with customers, support coordinators and plan managers regularly regarding funding and service delivery
- Work in partnership with the Home Care teams – recruitment, client services team, care coordinators, rostering and compliance teams to support the Customer Experience
- Identify ways of improving systems and processes within your area of responsibility
To be considered:
- Proven experience to develop professional relationships that lead to business growth through new clients and client retention
- Experience in aged care, with knowledge of Home Care Packages and Aged Care Quality Standards is desired
- Exceptional presentation, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing markets

- Initiative, flexibility and strong attention to detail
- Client oriented, with the ability to focus on enduring the client’s needs are met
- Emotionally intelligent and an ability to empathise with customers and respond to their ever-changing needs
- Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in Healthcare & Business Development
- Experience and success in working in a customer focused, multi-site service business.
Mandatory:
- Current Working with Childrens Check (NSW WWCC)
- Current Police Check (within 6 months)
(Prior to start must have all 3 mandatory checks).
