Clinical Care Manager Opportunities NSW

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team where you will enjoy the support of an experienced team locally and extra assistance from our friendly support office.

As a Clinical Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for the residents. You will lead and support the nursing team, manage clinical services, and ensure compliance with aged care regulations.

About the role :

  • You must be able to collaborate with the leadership team to maintain the facilities plan for continuous improvement and meet regularly with the Facility Manager to track PCI progress
  • You will educate, mentor and support care staff to deliver a high level of quality care
  • Support the admission of new residents including assessments, care planning and reviews
  • Manage complex healthcare including wound care, infection control, pain management, falls and continence issues
  • Consult with residents, their families, allied health and medical practitioners
  • Lead the accurate and timely completion of reporting and documentation in line with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensure the facility functions in line with Residential Aged Care quality standards, legislation and best practice guidelines
  • Complete clinical auditing within the aged care facility

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • 2 + years experience in Aged Care Management
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies and procedures
  • Great understanding of Aged Care Standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • National Police and NDIS clearances
  • Flu vaccination and Covid vaccinations
