Corrections Nurses Required for National Placements

We are looking for resilient, critical thinking Nurses with a corrections, primary health care, strong general or ED background, who have the ability to work in a fast paced environment who are looking for their next challenge!
Successful candidates will have the ability to operate in a robust custodial environment, this is a well-supported role with a thorough orientation process, working alongside another nurse at all times with the expectation that no two days are ever the same. HCA are calling all suitable candidates to support these facilities in implementing the right processes and support to deliver outstanding unbiased healthcare to theirs clients and help to maintain and restore consistency and positive culture within these Centre’s across Australia.
  
What HCA is looking for in a candidate:  

• Minimum 4 Years experience in either ED or PHC or GP or Acute
• Competent in triage, medication management, primary health care, critical care, observations
• Resilient, critical thinking & ability to think on your feet
• The ability to provide culturally safe and inclusive care
• Administering medications
• Current unrestricted AHPRA
• Current National Police Clearance; or willingness to obtain
• Current Working with Children Check; or willingness to obtain
• COVID19 vaccination evidence including booster
• Flu vaccination evidence
