About the role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurses to join a small regional hospital located in the outback of South Australia.
This exciting opportunity allows you to work 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off providing a fly-in and fly-out service giving you a work / life balance.
You will be providing crucial and comprehensive healthcare services in a remote location, ensuring the well-being of the patients in acute care and aged care.
Key responsibilities:
· To be able to work autonomously, being the RN on the shift.
· Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals in remote locations.
· Conduct health assessments and screenings.
· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement healthcare plans.
· Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
· Educate and support individuals in promoting their health and well-being.
Skills & experience
· Registered Nurse for 3 years with current AHPRA registration.
· Current Advanced Life Support and Triage Training Qualifications highly regarded, or ability and willingness to obtain.
· Experience in remote or FIFO healthcare settings is highly desirable.
· ED Experience desirable.
· Essential – a team player who works hard when required but can have fun.
· A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
