About the role

Our Client is looking for 2 x New Graduate Registered Nurse to work in regional Victoria on a permanent full-time basis.

Locations including : Castlemaine, Victoria

Providing high quality medical assistance, encompassing the evaluation of residents’ health status, vigilant monitoring of vital signs, and proficient management of medications and therapies.

Wound Care: Overseeing the treatment and dressing of wounds, actively preventing infections, and fostering optimal wound recovery.

Healthcare Planning: Formulating and executing personalized care strategies tailored to the unique needs and medical circumstances of residents.

Evaluation and Documentation: Conducting comprehensive health assessments, meticulously maintaining precise medical records, and recording any shifts in residents’ health conditions using eCase.

Pain Management: Addressing pain issues and deploying effective pain relief techniques.

Emergency Preparedness: Being equipped to manage medical crises and orchestrating necessary responses.

End-of-Life Support: Providing compassionate care and comfort during palliative care and end-of-life stages.

Desired

• A strong understating of aged care standards
• Proven knowledge of best practice in Dementia and Palliative Care
• Be able to promote a positive culture that embraces the values of this provider
• Be able to mentor, coach and share your clinical knowledge within the team.
• Ensure compliance at all levels and a sound knowledge of the accreditation process.
• Liaise with other allied health consultants and Medical staff
• Carry out assessments and develop Care Plans for new residents and those coming in for respite to ensure it is a positive transition and a welcoming experience.

Required

• Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration
• National Police and NDIS clearances (or willing to obtain)
• Flu vaccination and Covid vaccinations
