About Us

Home Nursing Group – a Healthcare Australia Company, provides a variety of direct support services for our Home Care (Aged in the Home) Customers and we currently have a number of Permanent part-time and Casual positions available in Port Macquarie so are looking for passionate and caring people to join our team to deliver these services.
About The Role

As a Nursing Assistant, you will get a chance to create a positive impact to elderly clients living at home, through the promotion of independence and choice. The role reports through to the Care and Support Coordinator and will suit someone with a caring nature and genuine desire to support our clients to live independently in the community. You will deliver high-quality assistance to clients using a person-centred approach. This role involves nursing assistance, personal care, social support, domestic duties and other tasks as directed.

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for supporting elderly people and respect what they want to achieve in their lives. You will display positive energy, attention to detail, and a strong passion to support our clients to live independently.

To be considered 

  • Experience supporting the elderly
  • Cert III in a relevant field
  • Sector experience desirable but not essential
  • Valid AU Drivers Licence
  • Reliable vehicle to transport between customer locations (KM’s are paid)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Vaccinated against COVID and current Flu
