About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU), you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill and cardiac patients while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering safe, patient-centred critical care nursing
- Monitoring and managing critically ill and cardiac patients
- Recognising and responding to patient deterioration
- Working collaboratively with medical and allied health teams
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Providing exceptional patient and family-centred care

- Comprehensive Cardiac Services
- Two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories
The ICU and dedicated CCU manage a diverse patient cohort, including:
- Acute cardiac conditions
- Interventional cardiology procedures
- TAVI procedures
- Cardiac ablations
- Complex medical patients
- Complex surgical patients
Essential Criteria:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience in ICU, CCU, Critical Care or Coronary Care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Highly Regarded:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care
- Postgraduate Certificate in Intensive Care
- Postgraduate Certificate in Coronary Care
