Supervise the Reception Team to ensure efficient operations per practice policies.
Support the Practice Manager in recruitment and onboarding of receptionists.
Coach and train Reception Team, identify areas for improvement.
Manage Reception Team performance and foster a positive culture.
Assist with rostering, operational procedures, and software implementation.
Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Customer Service:
Exemplify excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
Reception Duties:
Oversee appointment accuracy, handle patient bookings and issues.
Manage the patient waiting room and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Assist with administrative tasks and financial duties, including debt management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years in General Practice reception or similar.
Proficiency in General Practice systems (Pracsoft, Practice Hub, Best Practice).
High computer literacy and medical industry experience.
SKILLS:
Effective delegation and time management.
Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of healthcare terminology.
