About the role

We are currently seeking a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist for a hospital based in Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of occupational therapists across sub-acute and rehab
• Identify and implement patient interventions required
• Assess home environments and prescribe home modifications and/or equipment prescriptions
• Manage staff selection and appraisals
• Ensure professional guidelines, standards and reporting requirements are met
• Maintain compliance with policies, compliance and regulatory requirements
• Be proactive in continuous improvement activities
• Attend and participate in case conferences
• Service development and evaluation
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an acute setting
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Current general AHPRA registration (essential)
• Australian working rights (essential)
• Australian drivers’ licence
• National Police Clearance
