About the role
We are currently seeking a Grade 3 Occupational Therapist for a hospital based in Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead a team of occupational therapists across sub-acute and rehab
Identify and implement patient interventions required
Assess home environments and prescribe home modifications and/or equipment prescriptions
Manage staff selection and appraisals
Ensure professional guidelines, standards and reporting requirements are met
Maintain compliance with policies, compliance and regulatory requirements
Be proactive in continuous improvement activities
Attend and participate in case conferences
Service development and evaluation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in the role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an acute setting
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
Current general AHPRA registration (essential)
Australian working rights (essential)
Australian drivers’ licence
National Police Clearance
