Reporting to the National Operations Manager, we have a great opportunity for an energetic, motivated, confident, and outgoing person on a Full-time permanent basis, within our Home Care division.
The successful incumbent will administer a range of recruitment and administrative activities including providing advice, assistance, reporting & admin support on human resources functions across the business.
In addition the role is required to ensure the efficient and effective management of the entire recruitment process & management of the ongoing staff & subcontractor compliance & training requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordination of full cycle recruitment from advertising to on boarding
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting relevant agencies, and using job sites.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations within the business and recommending new procedures
- Regular reporting to internal stakeholders
- Ensure thorough process guides & procedural documentation is published and available for all HR functions in lieu of succession planning
- Management & maintenance of the HRIS & training platforms
- Collaborates with payroll within the business to ensure accurate and timely management of wage and salary documentation
- Develops and periodically reviews and updates requirements within the business staff management systems for the ongoing compliance management of employees
- Facilitates the setting of standardised performance review dates for employees per contracts and delivers prompts to staff and management as dates arise
What you will bring to the role:
- You have a strong understanding of workplace legislation and relevant awards
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organisation
- Experience in dealing with and assisting with complex employment issues
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and exercise initiative
- You have over 2 years of experience in a similar role
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong attention to detail
- You have the ability to work well under pressure and within a team
- You have reliable home internet and a suitable space to work from home
Qualifications and Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or other Business-related degree and/or related qualifications desirable
- Well-developed IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
