About the Role:
The position will work with others to develop processes that ensure appropriate use of staff resources and the efficient and successful recruitment of quality staff to convert client demand to filled shifts. To ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives to increase our casual nurse candidate database in line with Healthcare Australia’s client needs.
Tasks include:
- Being responsible for facilitating the end-to-end recruitment of our casual workforce with a focus on Nurses and Care workers. You will work closely with key stakeholders across multiple divisions to develop staffing pools for HCA that meet our customers’ needs.
- Identify and analyse new recruitment opportunities
- Adopt successful recruitment practices to match client needs regarding skill, continuity and availability
- Effectively interview, register and find work for new recruits
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and nurses/carers
- Effectively manage all operational administration including daily inbound and outbound client and candidate calls
- Integrate new nurses into the workforce
Skills & Experience Required:
- Exceptional organisational and presentation skills
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Recruitment experience in the Nursing Sector (desirable)
- Develop and manage the recruitment process through attraction, sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates, ensuring they meet compliance requirements, organising and conducting interviews
- Provide advice to candidates on training and compliance requirements.
- Familiarise and work in accordance with WHS and QMS systems, policies, and procedures
