Registered Nurse – Aged Care – South West Coast Victoria

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their 40-bed facility based in Warrnambool
As an integral member of a close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:
Ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to clients in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
Develop and implement individual care plans
Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centred approach
Build positive relationships with clients, families, and other staff members
Accurate documentation and record-keeping
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Accurate documentation and record-keeping
Well-developed clinical assessment skills and commitment to best practice approaches to care delivery
Understanding of the aged care funding instrument and associated processes
Understanding of the needs and issues experienced by the frail elderly and their families
Organisational and planning skills
Effective oral and written communication skills, including effective IT knowledge base.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Current driver’s license and National Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
