The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their 40-bed facility based in Warrnambool

As an integral member of a close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to clients in accordance with the Aged Care Standards and Aged Care Act
• Develop and implement individual care plans
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic person-centred approach
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and other staff members
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Well-developed clinical assessment skills and commitment to best practice approaches to care delivery
• Understanding of the aged care funding instrument and associated processes
• Understanding of the needs and issues experienced by the frail elderly and their families
• Organisational and planning skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including effective IT knowledge base.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Current driver’s license and National Police Check (issued within the last 3 years)
