Working alongside our parent company Healthcare Australia, EmployEase is a registered training organisation and has been delivering training and vocational services across all states for over 25 years. Over this time HCA Education has established itself as a proven provider of quality industry training, specialising in the the areas of Healthcare, Nursing, Community Services and Training and Assessment.
The Education and Training Division of HCA actively supports the training and continuous professional development of internal HCA staff, as well as providing a fee for service model to our external clients.
The Role:
The Timetabling Coordinator is responsible for developing and finalising course timetables within a short time frame, ensuring that all schedules align with EmployEase’s regulatory, legislative, and organisational standards as outlined in the Staff Handbook. Additionally, the coordinator will proactively alert management to potential trainer or venue shortages to maintain seamless course delivery.
Key Duties Include:
- Co-ordinate and secure venue and trainer availability in order to schedule courses as set by management
- Develop and maintain occurrence / course timetables in VETtrak
- Make amendments to occurrence / course timetables as required and ensure all parties are notified
- Coordinate the distribution of trainer class lists
- Coordinate the delivery and pick up of Manual Handling equipment for all relevant courses.
- Conduct venue checks and complete venue checklists where required
- Maintain an up to date record of all venues on VETtrak.
- Liaise with venue operators to resolve issues that may arise with training rooms
- Secure replacement trainers at short notice as required
- Familiarise and work in accordance with WHS and QMS systems, policies and procedures.
