I have a client looking for a Registered Nurse based in Townsville, QLD. Their mission is to provide high-quality and efficient health services to those in their care, guided by values of compassion, justice, integrity, and excellence.

About the role:

Every individual in my client’s facilities has a unique story, and you’ll have the opportunity to connect with each one as you:

  • Ability to provide clinical care aligned with the facility’s mission and philosophy
  • Proven ability to achieve Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)
  • Effective planning and coordination of patient/resident/client care, maintaining advocacy and using management systems
  • Capacity to participate in and support educational activities, contributing to the development of self and team members
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation
  • Ability to contribute to effective risk management, particularly in compliance with Work Health & Safety legislation
  • Demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices
  • Ability to participate in quality improvement activities.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a true team player and effective communicator, with:

· Bachelor of Nursing

· Current AHPRA registration

· Minimum 3 years experience

· Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse within aged care

· Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, policies and procedures

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· National Police and NDIS clearances

· Full working rights in Australia.
