Our client, based in Townsville, provides tailored support to seniors and those with disabilities living in Townsville and surrounding areas, from Cromarty up to Saunders Beach and out to Hervey Range. They are looking for a Registered Nurse who has graduated and is willing to be trained to deliver wonderful support to their facility’s residents and families.
About the role:
As a Graduated Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Your responsibilities will include:
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitoring and assessing residents’ health status.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care.
Providing emotional support and guidance to residents and their families.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing degree
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to undergo training and professional development opportunities.
