Job Opportunity: Rostering / Scheduling Staff for Aged Care Call Centre
Location: Adelaide Metro
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday (Weekends optional, not compulsory)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and empathetic individuals to join our team in a key role within our Aged Care Call Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the rostering and scheduling of services, ensuring timely delivery and providing high-quality customer service. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining an efficient and effective scheduling system to support our in-field employees and ensure the highest level of care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality, empathetic customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Scheduling & Rostering: Accurately schedule and manage services, ensuring they are within agreed timeframes. Communicate any changes to schedules and services promptly.
- Optimisation of Work Hours: Maximise staff work hours by minimising gaps between shifts and reducing travel time.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to minimise overtime and ensure scheduled breaks are adhered to.
- Timely Service Delivery: Ensure services are scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and manage day-to-day operational changes such as unplanned leave and customer requests.
- Problem Solving & Escalation: Resolve issues and escalate where necessary, ensuring the smooth operation of the scheduling system.
- Administration & Reporting: Complete administrative duties and generate reports within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Team Support & Collaboration: Provide coverage for higher-level team members as required and contribute to improved service delivery and business growth.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and the Aged Care Quality Standards, while maintaining adherence to our clients’ Purpose, Values, and policies.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality customer service with a strong degree of empathy and understanding.
- Experience in rostering or scheduling within a call centre or similar environment (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage operational changes in real-time.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining knowledge of industry standards.
- Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance requirements (desirable).
