About The Role

As the Care Manager, you will be a key leader within the home, working closely with a team of dedicated clinical professionals. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring high standards of clinical governance, assessment, and care planning to help residents live healthier, happier lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the care home.
• Lead and support the clinical team, including mentoring, staff allocations, performance management, and education.
• Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage compliance with AN-ACC assessments.
• Develop and oversee person-centred care planning and evaluations, including case conferencing with families and carers.
• Conduct clinical governance audits.
• Oversee medication management in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals, medical practitioners, and other service providers to ensure optimal resident care.

What You Bring:

• Right to work in Australia
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration (essential).
• Postgraduate qualifications in aged care (highly regarded).
• Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality clinical care within aged care or an acute setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
