The role
We are seeking committed Disability Support Workers for ongoing shifts in Mornington and surrounding suburbs. If you have experience in disability support, this job may be great for you!

Shift time: Thursday 1100-1500, Sunday 1400-1800
*Important*: Must be Ok with cats

Essential criteria:

• Minimum of 12 months paid experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• National Police Check clearance no older than 6 months.
• Must have High Manual Handling Skills e.g. transferring people with hoist.
• Must have High Challenging Behaviour skills such as physical and verbal aggression, absconding, self-harming.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance.
• Comprehensive car insurance is essential.
• Covid-19 fully vaccinated.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Employment Working with Children’s Check.
• Two relevant, professional and industry related reference checks.
• Willing to undertake up-skill training with HCA
