What was your professional background / work history before joining HCA?

Before joining HCA I specialised in looking after people with Dementia (Alzheimer’s) in residential aged care. I then furthered my studies and enjoyed leading a nursing team in providing the best quality care possible, built on compassion, respect and empathy.

How long have you been with the HCA team?

I have been with the HCA team for 5 months now.

What is your favourite thing to do when not working?

Spending time with my family, eating out or just relaxing in our back yard. I have three boys, thirteen-year-old identical twins and my youngest, six years old.

What is your favourite movie, band or book?

My favourite movie is without a doubt “Gone with the Wind”.

What’s a quote you try to live by?

Appreciate all the little things.

What do you like most about working in HCA Home Care? 

What I like most about working in Home Care is meeting many different wonderful people and helping to provide support, companionship. Also being able to help people feel empowered to make the right decisions that suit them as individuals. I wish more people knew how rewarding RN work in Home Care can be and how amazing it is striving to make a difference and being able to enrich people’s lives.
