What was your professional background / work history before joining HCA?
I have long been a disability advocate and have sought to promote community awareness such that it is welcoming and inclusive for people with a disability. I have worked in the disability services sector for over 10 years with my experience in government services, not for Profit and Provider services. Before coming to HCA as the VIC NDIS State Manager My Journey began as a Support Worker in an SDA school, then into the government department of the NDIA. I then transitioned to a Senior Local area coordinator and Community Capacity Building Lead at the Brotherhood of Saint Laurence. I then journey into the Provider space as a Operations manager at Avocadocare managing Support Coordination, Psychosocial recovery services and disability services. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at HCA and am proud of the Quality services that we provide and the great Staff that we have supporting our NDIS Participants.
