What was your professional background / work history before joining HCA?

I was a professional musician, singer and songwriter for 15 years, travelling all over Australia, and writing for ABC music. I studied to become a Rehab Counsellor- mainly in the Injury Management and Rehab space, working with Insurance clients and medically discharged Defence clients.
I always wanted to work with Seniors, which is how I ended up at HCA 😊

How long have you been with the HCA team?

Almost 5 years!

What is your favourite thing to do when not working?

Spending time with my daughters, my dogs, in the garden, or on my guitar.

What is your favourite movie, band or book?

Love everything written by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens; and musically my favorite artists are Dolly Parton, Keith Urban and everything in between.

What’s a quote you try to live by?

‘One day at a time’

What do you like most about working in HCA Home Care?

Seeing how we have positively impacted the lives of people who would otherwise not know where to turn.
